With the Yankees leading by a run, reliever Jake Cousins was sent in to pitch the last three outs. He got Smith to fly out, then walked Gavin Lux. Edman followed with an infield single to put runners on first and second with one out. https://onedgepro.com/ Cousins was then removed from the game and replaced with Nestor Cortés Jr., who hadn’t pitched since September 18. Cortés Jr. first faced Ohtani, who hit a ball into foul territory that was caught by a leaping Alex Verdugo, who toppled into the front row of the stands. Because Verdugo went out of play with the ball, the runners were awarded one base, advancing them to second and third. With the Dodgers down to their final out, the Yankees intentionally walked Betts, thus loading the bases and bringing Freddie Freeman to the plate. On the first pitch, Freeman hit a walk-off grand slam over the right field wall, winning Game 1 for Los Angeles. This is the third consecutive World Series Game 1 to be decided in extra innings, after it previously occurred in 2022 and 2023.
American rapper and Los Angeles native Ice Cube performed “Bow Down” and “It Was a Good Day” before Game 2. Pearle Peterson, a 19-year-old, sang the national anthem, accompanied by organist Dieter Ruehle. Game 2 featured starting pitchers Yoshinobu Yamamoto for the Dodgers and Carlos Rodón for the Yankees. Matt Kemp and Andre Ethier threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

I like this game, but stuck on level six. See, this is a mobile version of the popular pc game Worlds Hardest Game. But when making this, the creator left out some important details…1. SavingThis isn’t in the pc version, but being able to go back to where you were after leaving for a while would be very much appreciated.2. CoinsSo when you pick up a coin then go to a green space, in the pc version of you die after that then you still have that coin collected. Please add this feature to the mobile game, level 6 is 99% impossible without itThat’s really it, but I just want to say this is the only reasonable complaint. People complain about controls. I think they’re fine. People complain about speed. Also fine. People complain about not having a mute sound button. Guess what? Phones have sound down buttons. Overall, could use some work and I think I’ll stick to the pc version. If you want to play this game, use a computer. I don’t recommend installing. Also dev please listen to my requests. Anyway bye
From the“Touhou Project” to parts of “NieR: Automata,” shoot em ups are basically mandated to be dishearteningly difficult. As one of the most highly regarded additions to the genre, “Ikaruga” has done a lot to cement shoot ‘em up’s reputation as being mainly for the hardcore crowd. Twitch reflexes are obviously crucial, but “Ikaruga” sets itself apart due to a mechanic that permits the main ship to switch polarity between black and white, providing immunity to the same colored enemies. So in addition to the sense of immediacy typical of shoot ‘em ups, “Ikaruga” throws in an element of strategy.
When it comes to challenging racing games, “F-Zero GX” is downright infamous! This futuristic racer seems designed to be as difficult to win as possible! The speeds involved are ridiculous and each track is full of hairpin turns, forcing precise reactions or you’ll crash! Your boost meter is also your life bar, so boost too much, and you’re toast, but boost too little and you’ll lose! And cheating A.I.? You betcha’! Why do they get unlimited boost?! But, if you can hone your skills as a racer, you’ll experience one of the tightest, speediest racing games around. At least, if you don’t Falcon Punch your system out of frustration.
The thing about RPGs is that, since you can grind for experience, it’s really hard for a game to be an all-time difficult title. That’s why Demon’s Souls had to do different things to be considered, and Darkest Dungeon would also be applicable. From the get-go, the battles and encounters are already super tough, but the stress mechanic pushes Darkest Dungeon over the edge.
Some levels feature spaces outside the blue balls that let you pause for a breather. There aren’t many opportunities like this, but they can help you collect your thoughts. Some levels also feature checkpoints where you can save your progress.
You’ll have to be skilled at all these different gameplay elements, whether it’s the turbo tunnel, dodging electric beams, riding snakes, or the obligatory water level. Even when you get to the second to last stage, you’ll have to play a wheel race against a glowing void. There are a few brief, easy spots, but for the most part, it’s a hectic journey from start to finish, unlike any other NES game.
They say never judge a book by its cover. Well, Cuphead took that personally. With its toony graphics and soundtrack, Cuphead is a side scroller that looked very harmless. However, as soon as you boot up the game, the dark secrets behind the comic characters unravel. Boss fights took hours to conquer, while you were mesmerized by its retro animations. Cuphead is not for the faint-hearted, even if it looks like the game is for kids.
In 2020, a sequel to an already popular platform game, Spelunky, came out. Well, it did not just arrive on the scene; it said to its old version, “Hold my drink.” Spelunky 2 took platformer complexity to another level and made you think about every action. You not only struggled with the randomness of the enemies, but also dropping useful tools became a huge issue. Spelunky 2 was a that made players struggle in every beat and we hate it for that.
The arcade version of Ninja Gaiden games was pretty enjoyable. Following that trend, the 2004 version of the game came out with the same flavor. But there was a catch: Ninja Gaiden suddenly became very difficult. Despite all the responsive controls, the gory and violent gameplay was unforgiving. While the sequels somewhat continued the game’s legacy, the 2004 Ninja Gaiden’s strength was its violent and unbeatable hard difficulty.
