It’s a fantastic, thrilling representation of the video game that’s only held back by its level of complexity. Again though, this is something that will fall away after a few hunts. The artwork, miniatures and mechanics come together to create a superb sense of atmosphere that masterfully recreates the video game experience, even down to the dynamic encounters and replayability.

Love how much more organized and easy to use my cards and tokens are now. I can just pull out the token box and grab the token I need rather than searching around in a pile. The monsters fit nicely, with a bit of practice. My Rathalos has some issues fitting in due to warping but that seems like a common factory issue. As for the cards I had to use 2 of the 3 empty boxes to fit them all in sleeved. I used inner sleeves with 60 microns thickness. It would be nice to include a picture in the listing with sleeved cards to show how much space they really need.
